17th Australian HACCP Conference and
5th SQF International Conference

Australian HACCP Conference Series™ is the premier discussion forum for all food industry professionals involved in food safety. Each year the conference attracts a loyal following together with a growing number of delegates involved in the development and maintenance of food safety programs. Not only is it the largest forum of its kind in the Asia Pacific region, it is also the largest gathering of food safety professionals eager to meet, network and exchange ideas with like-minded people.

The 17th Australian HACCP Conference will be held on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th August. This year the Conference Package also incorporates the SQF International Conference (the first SQF conference to be held outside North America) to be held on Thursday 26th August at the same venue. On Monday and Friday of that week there will be workshops and training sessions.

The conference will address such topics as:

  • Food Safety in new & emerging markets,
  • Lessons to be learned from food safety outbreaks,
  • Implementing food safety in small businesses,
  • Red Line Management,
  • The impact of sustainability strategies on food safety,
  • Update on allergens and their impact,
  • Labelling laws review,

  • Toxicology of heavy metals in relation to food safety,
  • Controlling personal hygiene in a food service environment.

HACCP Awards - nominations are now closed

The Annual HACCP Conference Awards provides the food industry with a vehicle to recognise and reward the achievements of those who work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our food supply.

The winners will be announced at the Conference Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 24 August 2010.
