Join us at The Sebel Albert Park, Melbourne for the Conference Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 24 August 2010. Nominations have been extended to 30 June 2010.

What are the HACCP Conference Awards?

The 2010 HACCP Conference Awards celebrates eight years of achievements in Food Safety. The Annual HACCP Conference Awards provides the food industry with a vehicle to recognise and reward the achievements of those who work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our food supply.

Do you qualify for an award?

Category 1 - Sponsored by Metcash
Outstanding Individual nominated by an agri-food industry company

Award Criteria:
8 years experience in the agri-food industry
3 years in food safety management
Commitment to food safety

Category 2 - Sponsored by Silliker Australia
Outstanding individual working in an industry support organisation.

Award Criteria:
5 years experience in food safety.
Work for a regulatory or certification body, research institution or independent body.
Commitment to continuous improvement.

Category 3 - Sponsored by RABQSA
Outstanding individual working as a registered food safety auditor.

Award Criteria:
Registered food safety auditor.
Conducted at least 20 HACCP food safety management system audits in the past 3 years.

Category 4
Outstanding company

Award Criteria:
Food safety certification incorporating HACCP.
No critical corrective actions, recalls, withdrawals or suspensions of trade in the past 2 years.
Commitment to continuous improvement.

Award Winners Prize


All HACCP Award winners will be contacted prior to the 17th Australian HACCP Conference, and as part of their recognition, will be invited to attend the Conference at the expense of the Convener, will receive a complimentary ticket to the Conference Dinner (incorporating the 2010 Annual HACCP Conference Awards Ceremony), and will be given return economy airfare from their place of employment (if residing outside of the Melbourne metropolitan region). All accommodation and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
